Please follow the following procedure for getting signed up to do FNMA’s Desktop Originator™ with AFR as the sponsor.

Once completed, we will receive an e-mail stating that you have placed the request. You must be an approved AFR client in good standing in order for us to accept the request.

Please note the following:

• • AFR has a pull through requirement. You must keep a 90% submission ratio at all times. In other words, 90% of all loans run with DO must be at least submitted to your AFR account executive for pre-qualification and/or underwriting.
• • AFR reserves the right to cancel the sponsorship of a company or a branch of a company at any time for any reason.

If you need to have a DO case file released, please send a request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please make sure to include the case ID, borrower’s last name and the reason for the withdrawal.

It can take FNMA up to 24 hours to activate the account once AFR accepts the sponsorship request.
