Funding Procedures:

Please make sure the loan is registered with MERS and transferred to AFR and Aurora (sub servicer) prior to purchase. The funding procedure will provide you with AFR's and Aurora's MER#.

Once the file is closed and approved by AFR, please send the following collateral file materials to the Collateral Custodian listed below:

  • Original Allonge (Must match the Note exactly) endorsed to:

Its Successors and/or Assigns
Without Recourse
  • Copy of Mortgage or Deed of Trust (complete with legal description and all applicable riders)
  • Copy of Power of Attorney (if Note was signed by an Attorney in Fact)

Final Docs' Packages
  • Complete final documentation including, without limitation, the recorded Mortgage/Deed of Trust, recorded assignment and final title policy must be delivered to AFR within 120 days of the date of the loan's closing. Seller may request a written extension of 60 days to provide the missing documentation with a reasonable explanation acceptable to AFR on a case by case basis.
